4 Trendy & Chic outfits for brunch!
We've all been there it's Sunday morning, and your girlfriend hits you up for brunch, but you don't know what to wear. Brunch is a great time to get cute, eat, drink, and chit-chat with the girls. Since it isn't an upscale occasion or even a casual outing, the dress code may vary. Before you text her back to cancel, check out these four outfit ideas for any brunch occasion!
1. Basic Jumpsuit + Blazer
An effortless combination for when you want to look put together without trying is a blazer and a seamless jumpsuit. Jumpsuits are super comfortable and easy to wear. Adding a colorful blazer dresses it up and gives it a spring vibe. Finish it off with your go-to shoe. A slip-on sandal, heel, or sneaker will pair very well.
2. Button Down Shirt + Maxi Skirt
Are you looking to feel cool, calm, and chic? A simple white button-down is your go-to. Wearing breathable fabrics like Cotton will keep you cool while drinking your mimosas and cocktails. I opted for a denim maxi skirt to elevate the look. This skirt has a gorgeous slit down the middle for extra comfort. If denim maxi skirts aren't your thing, swap the denim skirt for a lightweight and flowy maxi skirt already in your closet. I added the drama with my polka dot platforms and bag.
3. Bralette + Wide leg Pants
This look is for the girls who like to dress up and get glammed! One of my secrets of looking put together yet comfortable is wide-leg pants. They can be flowy and breezy or tailored and structured. These polka-dot pants have a more tailored fit. I added a bralette top to add a sleek and sexy touch. The bralette and pant is a perfect option for the summer heat. Since the weather can be cool during spring, I layered over a hot pink blazer off my shoulder for a pop of color and warmth. I finished the look with pointed-toe mules for a chic touch.
4. Denim on Denim
Expect to get compliments all day with this jean-on-jean look. Denim-on-denim is a stylish and trendy way to show up to brunch. This look offers tailored pieces to give it a classy look. I paired my embellished denim corset with matching light-washed wide-leg jeans. I finished the look with silver accessories, a mini bag, and nude heels. If you want a more relaxed look, swap out the corset for a button-down denim shirt.
