In honor of the Netflix show Emily in Paris coming back for season 4, I am sharing a tres chic party thrown for my 24th bon annerversaire! My entire party was inspired by season 2 episode 3 where they celebrated Emily’s birthday! But were gonna focus on the glamourous evening before any drama. An Emily in Paris themed party is perfect for a watch party, birthday, or just a fun idea for the girls to get together. I am sharing everything you need to host a chic Emily in Paris themed party on a budget!

But What Are We Wearing?!
Emily in Paris gives us so much fun, romance, comedy but most importantly fashion. Now I may not always agree with Emily’s outfit choices, but I loved her birthday dress in this scene and I was able to find a similar dresses. One dress was the exact design in a different color. The deisgner Emily wore on her iconic birthday scene was Rotate by Birger Christensen. I found the dress on Rent The Runway. This gorgoeus bow dress show is a head turner. It’s very over the top and so girly, perfect for a birthday. This dress was a little too snug for me so I found a gorgoeus alternaive by Badgley Mishika on Rent The Runway. If you want a similar style, try a fun bow top and pair it with a light washed jean. Another idea is to wear bright colors with funky patterns. I had a similar pink coat as Emily, so you can wear that and add a beret! The guests were told to come in there best intepretation of Emily in Paris attire.

But What Are We Eating?!
A charcuteterie is always a good idea. Our party was very small like 5-7 people, so a small charcuterie tray was perfect. We filled the plate with our favorite meats, cheese, fruits and crackers. Our favorite cheeses are brie and smoked gouda paired with blackberry jam and crackers. We also had a few strawberries and grapes for decor. For a salty treat, we had prosciutto, gherkins, and pretzels. My boyfriend made his speciality sandwiches with mayo, turkey and toasted bread. For drinks, we had mimosas and a cheap French wine. C’est parfait! We celebrated my bon anniversaire with a homemade choclate cake embellished with powder and strawberries!

Final Touches
We added a few hints of France, but added a small eiffel tower and a cute saying with a famous french saying “La Vie en Rose”. My favorite colors together are black, white and pink. So we had black and white napkins. We had white plates with pink hearts on them and heart picks for the guest to use to grab the charctuerie.
